Flying Donut Press, LLC is an independent print shop and publishing company located in Valparaiso, Indiana. It was originally established in Goodyear, Arizona, in 2018 as a publishing name for personal art zines, and has since developed into a vehicle for offering custom design and printing services for local creatives and community members. It is owned and operated by multidisciplinary artist and professor, Kaitlyn Mick Stancy. With 10+ years of experience in the design and screen printing industry, Kaitlyn has a fiery passion for all things print. Her team is committed to offering the Region with quality custom printed goods and services that are genuinely out of this world.

screen printing
We specialize in both commercial screen printing services, as well as fine art serigraphy. Whether you’re looking for custom printed merch like t-shirts, tote bags, and bandanas, or artistic prints, event posters and signage, we’ve got you covered. Provide your own art files or request assistance from our creative team to ensure our work exceeds your expectations. Smaller, boutique jobs on selected materials are printed by hand in-house, and larger orders on select products are printed offsite. With connections to factories across the U.S. and access to thousands of promotional products, we can help you source blank goods, as well as discuss our ability to print in-house on customer-supplied products if preferred. You name it, we can print it! If we can’t print it in-house, we’ll outsource it!
risograph printing
We are super happy to announce that we have just acquired a *NEW* Risograph duplicator! Currently, we are only offering Black and Fluorescent Pink color printing, but we hope to add a few more colors by the end of the year. Not only is Risograph printing aesthetically gorgeous, but it is also cost-effective and eco-friendly, too. It is great for large-run paper projects (50-500 pieces). Similar to screen printing, one color is printed at a time, using halftones and texture to achieve gradients and multi-color prints. Registration is never quite perfect, and the results are imperfectly stunning. MEET KAITLYN:
Graduating from Indiana University Northwest with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking and Photography, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, Kaitlyn is proficient in both digital and print design. She found her love for screen printing during college, and has worked at various different print shops and advertising agencies over the years. In addition to managing Flying Donut Press, she also teaches graphic design and printmaking at IUN, as well as does freelance contract work.
